Types of Riveting and Welding Platforms: To meet the diverse needs of industrial production, the materials are further categorized into gray iron HT200-300 riveting and welding platforms, nodular cast iron QT400-600 riveting and welding platforms, and cast steel ZG15-45 riveting and welding platforms.
Manufacturing Standards of Riveting and Welding Platforms: Produced according to the latest national standard GB/T22095-2008. Structural Standards of Riveting and Welding Platforms: The thickness of the working surface, the thickness and height of the sidewalls, as well as the thickness, height, and density of the bottom rib plates must be reasonable in structure. It serves as an auxiliary tool in the riveting and welding process, functioning as a reference positioning surface for various riveting and welding tasks.
Chemical Composition of Riveting and Welding Platforms: Carbon content C: 3.16–3.30, which is an iron-carbon alloy. Carbon in the riveting and welding platform mostly exists in the form of graphite, and sometimes as cementite. In addition to carbon, the riveting and welding platform also contains silicon Si: 1.79–1.93, manganese Mn: 0.89–1.04, sulfur S: 0.094–0.125, phosphorus P: 0.120–0.170, as well as elements such as nickel (Ni), chromium (Cr), molybdenum (Mo), aluminum, copper, boron (B), and vanadium (V). Carbon and silicon are the main elements affecting the microstructure and properties of cast iron. The fracture surface of the riveting and welding platform appears gray, with a low melting point (1145–1250°C), minimal shrinkage during solidification, compressive strength close to that of carbon steel, and excellent vibration damping, heat resistance, and wear resistance.
Production Process of Riveting and Welding Platforms: 1. Develop a production plan and design drawings;
2. Create the lost foam pattern—foam mold;
3. Sand mold shaping;
4. Pouring;
5. Annealing the rough castings;
6. Rough machining with machine tools;
7. Perform secondary annealing to relieve internal stress and prevent deformation;
8. Precision machining with machine tools to achieve the platform’s dimensional accuracy;
9. Manual scraping for platforms requiring high flatness;
10. Finish the platform’s appearance and package it.
Specifications and Accuracy of Riveting and Welding Platforms: Specifications range from 1000*1200 mm to 3000*8000 mm, with dozens of variations available. Custom specifications can be manufactured based on user requirements and provided drawings. Accuracy: Follows national metrological verification regulations, categorized into four grades: 0, 1, 2, and 3.
